Learning Objectives:
Understand the definition of FASD and associated conditions, symptoms and risk factors
Understand why alcohol is the leading cause of preventable birth and developmental defects
Learn the prevalence of FASD in the US and Indiana
Learn evidence-based FASD prevention strategies
CEU Information:
This course provides 1.5 CEU's. CEU’s are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana State statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86). MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute provides CEU's for the following:

Social Workers
Marriage & Family Therapist
Mental Health Counselors
Certified Peer Recovery Professionals (CAPRC, CARC, CHW/CRS, CHW, CCHW)
